Go By Sea

We are a husband and wife who have always loved to travel.
Our travel style is more off-the-beaten-track. We don't like to follow the crowds. We avoid group tours where you are herded from one place to the next. We seek out local guides who can give us a real taste of their countries.
We wondered whether we could achieve the same travel style while cruising. We knew that there had to be more to do on Port Days than what the Cruise-lines are promoting.
So we set about researching and discovering what the possibilities were - to get away from the cruise ship crowds, support locals and discover hidden gems - all within the constraints of a one day shore excursion.
