Glenview Limousin

Glenview Limousins was established in June 1990. It is owned and operated by John and Coral Winning. The stud is located at “Glenview ” 304 Sunnyvale Road, Bell about half an hour north of Dalby, Qld. in the foothills of the Bunya Mountains.
The Glenview cows are all very easy doing, good natured cows with muscle and high milking ability. Good polled stud sires are purchased for use over these cows. Many of the older sires have years of carcass data available and our aim is to produce cattle with natural softness that are easy doing with the ability to retain yield and meet
market specifications.
Emphasis is placed on “do-ability” and temperament with all calves raised under commercial conditions. Polled genes and a black program introduced in 2001 have given buyers a wide selection. Recently we sent 70 pure Limousin grain assisted heifers to slaughter with all bodies grading MSA.
A large selection of bulls are available to purchase privately all year round. In addition Glenview is to hold its 14th “Glenview Western Limousin Bull Sale” at the Roma Saleyards during August 2016 and our aim as always is to offer well structured, thick high yielding bulls with good temperament, softness and eye appeal. Most of the bulls are sold into large commercial operations and must have good foraging ability.
Interstate buyers can purchase with confidence as cattle from Roma and Dalby are tick free and JD protected and all bulls have been vaccinated with 3 germ to suit buyers in the tick areas. Glenview cattle are sold under the Limousin Assurance Program.
