Glenorchy Rowing Club

The Glenorchy Rowing Club, the youngest rowing club in Tasmania, sits on the banks of the River Derwent in Glenorchy not far from Hobart's world famous MONA.
The club has a group of committed masters rowers and provides a para rowing program. As a small club we are very friendly; every member is an individual and not just one of the crowd.

New members are always welcome.

Members can row socially or competitively. Some members choose to row just for fun, others compete in Tasmanian and interstate regattas. A number have gone on to row internationally and won medals at World Championships and the Olympics. It's up to you to decide how you want to row; we can help you do it.

We have a range of equipment and facilities for rowing including a small gym and a hall with a kitchen that is available for hire.
