Gated, private and secure, The Gatehouse stands alone at the top of the tree lined driveway to the renowned Glenloch. Only three minutes easy walk from many local restaurants and cafes in ‘The Village,’ this exclusive hidden gem lies behind tall wrought iron gates at the end of a quiet, leafy country lane.

Glenloch itself is a 7 acre Garden which has been featured on Channel 7’s The Great South East television series as well as Country Style Magazine and Queensland Homes Gold Edition. Filming for Channel 9’s House & Garden is expected later this year.

The Gatehouse is a luxury two bedroom cottage (King & Queen) fitted out to the highest standard, where every thought for your comfort has been considered.

With luxurious beds and imported designer 500TC linens, lofty feather and down duvets and fluffy white robes to cuddle up in, you’ll feel pampered from the moment you arrive.

To ensure you are cosy on those chilly mountain nights, the remote controlled ‘Realfire’ full size gas fireplace gives the cottage a welcoming glow. There is also reverse cycle air-conditioning - so you’ll be cool in summer as well. Relax in comfort beside the fire, watching a movie on the Smart TV or listen to music - yours or ours - both complemented with the fabulous Bose Cinemate 120 Home Theatre System. Behind the gates, your mountain retreat is in a world of its own.

We’ve complemented the bathroom with quality 820gm bath towels from the USA and we’ve also imported the fabulous range of Casa Lavanda products from New Zealand. These contain pure essential oil of lavender, grown in the Hawkes Bay - which are the finest we have found.

For those preferring a spa - a luxurious 4 person spa is located on the generous elevated veranda, from which to take in the breathtaking scenery of the gardens. Why not relax in the spa with a glass of champagne under the stars?

The modern full kitchen - complete with the top of the range Nespresso coffee machine - is equipped with everything you will need for a romantic short break or relaxing vacation. Tempting restaurants are only minutes away - but if you get the urge to create something ‘at home’ - the local supermarket is only moments away by car. A 4 burner Beef Eater BBQ as well as outdoor table and chairs can be found on the generous veranda if you’d rather dine al fresco - surrounded by the garden and birdsong. Quality BBQ platters can be arranged in advance for your enjoyment.

You’ll find a bottle of quality French Champagne and other little surprises, hiding away in the full size fridge. Of course we provide all the ingredients for sumptuous breakfasts too. Either quality cereals, fruit and local yogurt, together with rye and walnut bread and muffins, or rashers of Mountain smoked bacon, local free range eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes and juice to go with the local crusty bread - as well as Glenloch’s own home made preserves.

The Gatehouse is equipped with Free WiFi and has its own full laundry facilities. Parking is right outside your door.

We love our guests to explore the gardens at Glenloch at their leisure - finding the ponds, Secret Garden and many other photographic spots to enjoy. We’ve welcomed thousands of people to the garden when it’s been open for charity throughout the years, so why not come and stay at The Gatehouse and have it all to yourself. We’d love to see you.
