This little venture of ours all started after we regularly took lamb over to our family in Adelaide and they could not stop raving about our lamb and it left them wanting more.

This then extended to our family friends and beyond to leave us to where we are today.

A little bit about our family farm;

Glengyle has been within the Mickan family since 1912. We crop 5000 acres of land ranging from undulating hills to clay flats where canola, wheat, lupins and beans are grown.

With the help of our border collie sheep dog 'Boots' we also run 2000 breeding ewes for wool and meat. Throughout the year they keep us busy, with 2 full weeks of shearing and 2 main lambing seasons, March- April and July- August.

From our farm to your fridge;

Our lambs are all hand picked from our paddocks, and are transported directly to the abattoir 10 minutes away to ensure a stress free lamb.

Each lamb is then chilled before being prepared and packaged by a local accredited butcher, where it then is packaged in a box and delivered in a refrigerated cool room to the northern suburbs of Adelaide ready for your collection.

The options available are as follows;

Whole lamb- 18-22kgs $ 280

Half lamb- 9-11kgs $ 145


What to expect in a half of a lamb box;

-2 half lamb leg roasts
-1 forequarter roast boned and rolled, your choice if you would like it seasoned or plain
-2 Lamb shanks
-4-5 trays of Loin chops
-Gourmet lamb sausages approx 1 kg


Size of box;

Packaged neatly on trays for your convenience to fit neatly in your freezer.

Ordering and payment;

- To order, send an email to glengylepremiumlamb@gmail.com
- State which month you would like the lamb
- State either if you wish to purchase a half lamb or full lamb
- State if you would like your forequarter roast seasoned
- A return email will then be sent with our banking details
- Once payment is received a confirmation of your order and pickup address and details will be emailed
- This will then be required to be shown on pickup

We will be doing 3 orders per year

February, April and October

Payment will be required before the close off date, delivery to Adelaide will be approximately be 15 days after closing date.

Lamb will need to be picked up within 24 hrs of delivery to Adelaide to ensure freshness.
