Glenferrie Stud

Glenferrie Stud has been a purpose built thoroughbred agistment centre for over 30 years, offering specialised, full care for racehorses, stabling, rugging, farrier/vet handling, post operative work, full time supervision etc The property also has full 24hr recorded CCTV surveillance, with numerous cameras. This is viewed via a monitor from inside, but also available from our mobile phones when we are off the property

The stud is now branching out to add further equestrian facilities with an arena being built in 2015, and offering a variety of regular horse agistment, from single to shared paddocks, spelling, stabling, 3 roundyards, wash facilities, feed/tack/hay storage, float parking and AM/PM feeding or rugging as requested.

Glenferrie Stud Rural retreat is a further addition to the property - offering completely self contained, simple but very comfortable accommodation. The retreat is one bedroom, but can sleep 4 with a double fold out lounge in the TV room. This is a perfect place to stay for a weekend get away, if you would like to explore the surrounding cafes, wineries, restaurants, galleries, farmers markets, forest, beaches etc It is also a lovely place to stay with your horse if you would like to plan some forest riding with friends, are doing a clinic in the local area or would just like a change of scenery.

The retreat sits at the front of the property with beautiful views over the paddocks and Kuitpo forest. A verandah winds around the house which is a perfect place to sit and enjoy the view, or have a BBQ with friends. And for those of you that like to include the four legged family we are pet friendly too.
