Remy Hair - What is it and how can I use it?
Remy hair is one of the best hair extensions you can use as it is made from human hair. If you want a natural look, remy hair is the best way to achieve it. The remy hair is also called virgin hair, raw hair, or cuticle hair.

Remy Hair Collection Process
Remy hair is collected from hair donors that have never had their hair processed, which means it only comes from hair that has never had a permanent wave or color treated. Typically, human donated hair used for extensions undergo a process to have the cuticles stripped in acid, and silicone is attached to the stripped cuticles, which gives the hair a very shiny appearance. However, with remy hair the cuticle is not stripped and therefore, it looks very natural.

Remy Hair Types
Before you head out to get a set of hair extensions, it is important to make sure your hair is as healthy as you can get it or have the hairextensionist/hairdresser trim your hair so your ends do not show. Obviously, you do not want to add healthy locks of remy hair, if you hair is damaged & noticeable. You can choose to get the remy clip in hair extensions type, or the more permanent with microbeads or tape type, but whichever you choose, you are sure to have a much more natural look than synthetic hair extensions.

Remi hair - Where Does It Come From?
It is important to know that remy hair comes from donated hair all over the hair with Indian hair being one of the popular choices because of the excellent texture as well as color. Other areas that remy hair is collected from are Brazil, which is typically thick and lighter for people of all races.

When you are wanting the most natural hair extensions, the best option is the remy hair because it is feels and looks just like the very healthy hair that it is. You will pay more for remy hair, but in the end, it is worth it if you need to look and feel your absolute best. When purchasing remy hair, make sure you are dealing with reputable hair extensionist that use authentic remy hair, if it is too cheap it probably is not authentic.


Double drawn hair
Double Drawn Hair is made all by hand where the longest lengths of hair are pulled from the bundle first. If a ponytails longest length is 18″, all 18″ hair is removed. The next layer will be 17″ and that is removed. Proceed up the bundle by 1″ lengths until they are taken out and sorted. Making double drawn hair takes more time, more hair, and the result is a more expensive product where all hair will be the same length with no layers or shorter hairs so the hair is all the same length
Single drawn
Single draw hair is when the individual strands of hair are different lengths just like our natural hair. Single drawn hair is less expensive.

Maintance;
You should only leave your hair between 6-8 weeks & no longer as your hair can matt/knott and/or slip.
You are responsible for the maintance of your extensions no one else.

THE MUSTS!:
-must always dry hair after washing it before brushing it.
-always plat it before bed.
-never use conditioner or oils on roots.
(shampoo is to go near root to thoroughly wash your hair)
-when shampoo do NOT be rough an mess your hair around, be gentle and take care as if they were your own hair.
-do not use pantene or any cheap supermarket brands.

-I repeat do not brush your hair while it is wet
-It is recommended to avoid salt water and pool water but if you choose to go swimming make sure your hair is in a plat with lots of leave in treatment to keep it from getting dry.
-we recommend not swimming in the water overseas as we find it drys out even your own hair a lot.
