GG Horsemanship

Glen Gough is an internationally renowned horseman, with a long list of accolades in the campdraft, challenge, and Australian Stock Horse arenas.

Some of Glen's achievements include multiple ASH National futurities, maturities, open challenges, a World Championship Campdrafting title, an Australian Open Campdraft title, multiple national Supreme workings, two Cloncurry Stockmans challenges, eight state championships, four golden spurs, two gold cups, and a dozen trophy saddles.

Glen has also given demonstrations at the Calgary Stampede, the 2000 Sydney Olympics, two Equitanas, two Sydney Royals, the Ekka, and the Northern show circuit.

Glen has broken in and trained all his own horses, including the famous Yallatup Rivoli Rex - IS HSH, and the highest priced Australian Stock Horse to date Yallatup Regal Remedy - HSH. His training techniques are strongly influenced by his father, along with many years of experience. Horse psychology plays an integral role in all aspects of the GG Horsemanship methods.

Daisy Robertson has spent the last thirteen years being coached by Glen. From a young age Daisy has broken in and trained multiple challenge winning horses and attended countless horsemanship and cattlework clinic's with Glen. Prior to focusing on the Australian Stock Horse, Challenge, and Campdrafting disciplines, Daisy competed in Hacking with success up to a Royal level. At the age of 10, Daisy travelled to the ASH Nationals with Glen, and returned with blue ribbons for Hack, Working, Station Hack, Handler, Time Trial, and received Champion Rider under 18yrs. Daisy continued competing as often as she could whilst focusing on school and University commitments. Since returning from an overseas trip in 2012 Daisy has worked breaking and training with Glen once again, and recorded wins at every competition attended this year including challenge, led, hack, working, station hack, reining pattern, and a last campdraft score of 88 on the very talented 'Mt Echo Regal Optimist - HSH' who was trained and recently purchased by Daisy.

We both look forward to the coming season and will begin campaigning some wonderful young stock in the ASH, challenge, and campdraft arenas. We will also be offering tuition in the from of regular horsemanship and cattle clinics, private or group lessons, and a limited number of training positions for outside horses.
