Generations of Timber Co. unofficially opened shop in 1988 when Darren Philip began learning the craft of timber alongside his Grandfather Fred , and Father Col. The years since saw them build homes, furniture, theatre sets, props, art and much more.

Generations of Timber Co. was born in honour of the profound impact both of these men had on Darren's craft, but also in honour of timber itself. A finite resource, often overlooked and undervalued, GOTC now specialises in recycled timber.

We are based in the Hunter Valley, NSW and offer the following services:

We sell recycled & dressed timber - If you are a wood worker, carpenter, home builder, designer or just love recycled timber and you are looking for a supplier of reclaimed timber for your projects, we'd love to help you out. All of our timber is hand salvaged, de-nailed, dressed and ready for use. We offer a delivery service on our timber as well!

We also create unique custom recycled timber furniture and craft custom pieces - for both residential and commercial spaces. From tables, benches, chairs, flooring and more. We take our time with each piece and never cut corners. We use traditional joinery techniques and pride ourselves on delivering a superior product.
