Gem of the West Winton Campdraft

The Diamantina Rodeo & Campdraft Association Inc., proudly presents ‘The Gem of the West Winton Campdraft’ from the 28th April – 1st May 2017. Our affiliation with the Australian Campdraft Association (ACA) Inc. enables us to host this event and in so doing participate in one of the nation’s fastest growing family sports. Our association is a small but dedicated group who enjoy the privilege of being able to enhance the well being of the relatively remote community in which we live.

Campdrafting is one of our nation’s fastest growing family sports, a weekend dedicated to the whole family whilst showcasing the fine talent of the true Australian bush men, women and children of today.

The ultimate aim of our efforts is to raise funds for local organizations. Typically we make annual financial contributions to the Ambulance service in Winton. We have also, in the past, assisted with resourcing local children’s sporting groups and have lent a hand to families in times of difficulty.
