Geelong Touch Football Association

Geelong Touch Football Association started at King Lloyd Reserve in 1996 as a non-profit Association. Our purpose is to provide all members of the community with an opportunity to stay active and healthy, playing a team sport in a social environment.

Our club/sport promotes inclusivity; it is a mixed family non-contact sport that allows anyone to play regardless of gender, age, experience, background or ability.

Our participation and referee numbers have grown steadily over the years up until 5 years ago where we have remained at maximum capacity on the Monday night competition in summer.

Currently we have just under 300 registered participants and 30 teams. Our members are aged between 10 and 70. One of the amazing benefits of our sport is that friends, family or colleagues can form a team and play our non-contact, social sport together at any age.

In August 2016 the decision was made with council support to create an additional night of competition on the Wednesday. This was well received and both competitions have run smoothly with the room to allow extra teams to participate over both nights.
