Gäwa Christian School

Gäwa Christian School is a remote indigenous Yolngu school, located in Gäwa - the home of the Warramirri people, on Elcho Island in far north East Arnehm Land, NT Australia.
Described as the most remote school in Australia, for the Yolngu this is home, their traditional homeland, with some of the children having never left the island of Elcho.
We are a Christian School in the community of Gäwa - Not two ways in different directions, but both ways as one - to the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
