Gateway Providores has been established since 1996 and currently service Hotels, Cafes, Restaurants 1-5 star, RSL’s, Sport and Bowls Clubs, Aged Care Homes, Mining Camps, Bakeries, Schools, Hospitals and Correctional Facilities. These establishments are located all throughout Brisbane Metro, Ipswich, Queensland’s east coast (north and south) and central Queensland.
Our fully equipped boning room has a range of qualified staff from Butchers, Chefs, Quality Assurance Officers, Smallgoods Manufacturers, Portion Control, Carcase Description and Measurement, MSA and Halal Grading and Management, Laboring and Packing staff. The majority of our sales staff are Qualified Butchers making communication from every angle very easy and efficient, as we all speak the same terminology.
In addition to our catering company, the company is also involved in a carton wholesale division (Gateway Wholesale Distributors Pty Ltd). Our wholesale company sells to Butcher Shops, Carton Meat Distributors, Supermarkets and other Catering Companies around Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Northern Territory. This is of benefit to us as the company now has more buying power and larger product range/availability. The company is also involved in six retail butcher shops around Queensland (One in Toowoomba, Four in Townsville and One in Roma) and another two large catering divisions (Roma and Toowoomba). The company has very close ties to the largest, Australian Owned, carton meat supplier in the country (Teys Australia, A Cargill joint venture).
