Futari was formed in November 1995 with the prime intention of providing quality control and grain technology services to industry. The company focussed its services and support to grain producers and traders operating in the private sector, where previously very little specialised support services was available outside of the large mainstream export facilities of that time such as AWB Limited and the Bulk Grain Handling Companies.
The company has grown significantly since its inception and now has clients nationally, and holds numerous governmental accreditations which are integral to grain export regulations and domestic movements.
Being a commercial laboratory, Futari holds NATA accreditation for a number of its laboratory procedures, specifically associated with the seed testing laboratory.
The company’s continued success and growth is due largely to its independence within the commercial world along with the extensive knowledge and experience of its senior management. Futari is held in high regard by industry through quality and efficiency of service and customer satisfaction. Its involvement in industry is wide ranging. In addition to extensive seed testing commercial activities it provides input into grain intake and export standards development and application, and grain hygiene and storage protocols for various industry bodies.
Futari has extensive experience with NIR instrumentation and its application to the grain industry. It holds verifier status with National Measurements and so is able to provide instrument verification services to private owners / operators of NIR instruments for Protein measurement.
