Fredo Pies

The famous Fredo Pie Shop is an iconic specialty pie shop situated on the mid north coast of NSW and has been a regular pilgrimage for thousands of travellers for over 20years.

The history of Fredo Pies began in the early 90's, with very humble beginnings. Started by one person as a local country store and ice-cream shop to service passing tourists, the owner started making home-baked pies to increase business. The novelty of speciality pies with up to 50 different varieties took off and within five years the business was operating at a commercial scale, with more than 7 stores operating within NSW.

Winning numerous awards over the years, including Australia’s Best Pie Shop, Fredo Pies has also featured in The Lonely Planet Guide, Channel 9’s Getaway, The Today Show and invited to tender for catering at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Open 364 days a year, you can choose from a HUGE range of pies. From the exotic like Crocodile, Wild Boar, Steak & Kidney or Lamb in Mint or just a traditional Chunky Steak or Chicken Mornay with buttery puff pastry, there is a definitely a pie to get your taste buds tingling.

5.5 hours from Brisbane QLD and 4.5 hours from Sydney NSW, we're just about half way between these 2 big cities.
