More about Forest Hill Football Netball Club

Forest Hill Football Club was formed by Ken Parry (ex East Burwood), Ken Walleur, Mick Cecil & Kevin Binns in 1967. Ken Parry coached the Nunawading Blues high school team and played cricket for Forest Hill Cricket Club.

Supported by the cricket club and the ground not being used in the Winter, the Nunawading High school Blues became the Forest Hill Cricket/Football Club, with the colours of green and white.

The clubs renamed itself the Forest Hill Football Club in 1968 and in 1970 entered the Eastern District Football League (EDFL) now the EFL. The club fielded a seniors and reserves team, as well as and Under 15's and 17's team in our inaugural season in the EDFL. The club has continued to field senior and reserves teams and has also fielded a strong and successful junior club. Although the junior teams were disbanded for a few years the past decade has seen the return of a strong Junior division of the club.

From 2014 the Forest Hill Football Club will field a joint venture U/19 Colts team with the Vermont Football Club. The team will be named the Forest Hill Eagles.
