Food Integrity Group Co-op Ltd - FIG

FIG operates a chemical-free food box system which co-op members pay for one week in advance. Most of the produce is Certified Organic or Biodynamic, with some guaranteed chemical free produce as well. Our priority is to support the local farmers however not all produce is grown locally - yet! Some weeks we can supply 100% of local produce, other times it's less.

The co-op is run by volunteers comprising of a management committee and general members, who share in the setting up and packing away, ordering, weighing & bagging up of vegies, cashier assistant, and lots of little jobs inbetween. We have a membership fee structure which includes a one-off joining fee and an annual fee July-June and that amount depends on the amount of volunteering you can do. We conduct fortnightly bulk orders for those who juice, make smoothies or want larger quantities of potatoes, for example, and an extras table is set up where honey and dry goods etc are available, along with additional fresh produce for members to purchase.

The co-op operates on Mondays from 2.00pm until 5.00pm at the Ourimbah Scout Hall, 6 Ourimbah Creek Road, Ourimbah.

We run weekly throughout the year except for a couple of weeks over Christmas and New Year, and on public holiday Mondays, operate on the Tuesday instead, 2pm until 5pm.

If those times don't suit, maybe you could collect your produce that evening from a FIG Host who may live locally to you, an idea we're developing as we find more members willing to participate and offer this service.
