Megan has had a life long involvement working with horses and many other animals beginning on a station far west NSW where she grew up. At this time she was riding her own horses from a young age and was fortunate enough to learn much from the neighbouring Aust Stock Horse breeders who hosted some of the earliest Ray Hunt (world renowned natural horseman USA) clinics here in Australia.

This early influence of the ‘natural’ philosophy lead her to pursuing horsemanship in more depth studying and learning more wherever possible. She travelled for over 4 years in USA gaining experience from Buck Brannaman clinics, working for 3 leading national level trainers in English and Western disciplines including cutting. She also went onto the UK where she managed a hunt yard and conducted her own horsemanship teaching business. She credits her greatest teachers to be Ken Faulkner (previously a leading instructor with Pat Parelli, now independent) , Buck Brananman and Ray Hunt, however there have been many other people instrumental in her ongoing learning.

Megan has been operating her own horsemanship business over the last 16 years based in the Hawkesbury and Central Coast &Mid north Coast NSW regions starting horses (of many breeds) under saddle, working through problems, handling young ones etc and teaching. She uses communication and understanding with horses (and often with any animals) with the intent to develop a willing relationship that has harmony, softness and respect.
She is now specialising in teaching and applying these horsemanship principles and techniques and is available for the following services (will travel)…………. please feel free to enquire regarding any location as she is currently travelling Australia in 2017, most likely being in the northern areas thru winter months.
