Fisheries Tasmania

The Wild Fisheries Management Branch of the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment:

• manages Tasmania's recreational and commercial fishing sectors;
• supports research into fisheries and marine ecosystems; and
• educates the community through fisheries awareness programs.
