Fatboys is located just next to Gizo Western Province Solomon Islands! A 10 minute boat ride from the airport and 15 minutes from Gizo Township. We have 5 bungalows that offer you with spectacular views of a early morning sunrise watched straight from your own bungalow! Fatboys is also highly recommended for its sea food menu. So if your hungry and looking for a place to eat,why not come and get a taste of our very own island seafood dishes that will make grave for more! And if its a hot day why not stop over for a chilled beer. Our restaurant and bar is located right on the sea front which gives you wonderful and amazing views of the island lifestyle and the crystal clear waters!
The name ‘Fatboys’ is derived from the character ‘Joe the Fatboy’ in the book “The Pickwick Papers” by Charles Dickens. Young Joe is a cheeky, lazy young man with an unsatiable appetite for food, sleep and doing as little work as possible. When you stay at Fatboys Resort, you’ll become like Joe- Drinking, Eating and Sleeping, all befitting a Fatboy.
