FAST Aviation is a family owned & operated company that offers advanced pilot training (multi-engine & instrument rating training), as well as single-engine & multi-engine aircraft charter and aerial work services from Lismore NSW.
Managing Director & Chief Pilot, Izaac Flanagan, has a Bachelor of Aviation degree with an Air Transport Pilot Licence, Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating, Instructor Rating with Multi-Engine & Instrument Rating Training Approvals, and an Agricultural Rating. He is also a GP and Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME).
Our advanced pilot training is conducted in association with Redcliffe-based Air Queensland, an industry-respected training provider with extensive industry contacts.
While FAST Aviation utilises the well-equipped ground-based training facilities of the Northern Rivers Aero Club (NRAC), it is a completely independent and privately owned & managed entity. The relationship between NRAC and FAST Aviation is one of supplier and customer, with NRAC supplying facilities to FAST Aviation under a commercial agreement.
We utilise a CASA-approved Category B synthetic trainer, as well as an immaculate Cessna 172N (VH-TEI), a well equipped IFR C172RG (VH-JJC), a beautiful Cessna 182P (VH-WLN) and an impeccably-presented and extensively-equipped low hour Beechcraft B55 Baron (VH-EUZ).
