Catch the plane from ‘the front door” of the Prairie Hotel without leaving the bitumen road. Return to a great meal, a comfortable bed and the hospitality of the hotel.

Eddie Fargher, youngest son of Ross & Jane Fargher of the Prairie Hotel has recently teamed with his uncle, Ian Fargher (of Angorichina Station) as a pilot & 5th generation local from nearby Cattle Station, Nilpena.

Weather permitting & at your pilot’s discretion you will enjoy your safari from low altitude. Flying between 500 – 1000 feet provides ultimate viewing & appreciation of the landscape & birdlife, enhanced by your pilot’s informed inflight conversation – each aircraft is equipped with personalised headsets ensuring an ease of interactive conversation during your Lake Eyre & beyond Safari.
