There is a treasure trove of internationally significant dinosaur and megafauna fossils in southwest Queensland. These fossils tell us stories about Australia's biggest animals - the titanosaurs and marsupials including the diprotodon - that have been dug up just outside Eromanga and Eulo.
The Outback Gondwana Foundation has been digging, researching and preparing these fossils since 2004 and plan to build a museum in the region to display the finds for children, scientists, tourists and, of course, the locals.
The aim: to preserve southwest Queensland's fossil heritage and keep these valuable fossils in the region where they were found.
The Eromanga Natural History Museum meets the international standard for museums and upholds the highest level of scientific integrity.
The Museum receives vital funding from Beach Energy and Santos, alongside many other generous supporters.
