Through out the years there has been a big misconception about inkjet printers. It’s amazing how the quality of inkjet has changed and improved over the past few years. The inkjet printer has shown remarkable improvements with the most important aspects being both colour accuracy and achievability. We can be confident in the longevity of an inkjet print with the many improvements that have been made over the past years.

Today prints produced by inkjet printers are seen in galleries, museums and have made it possible for artists and photographers to make their own prints.

The inkjet process is when the ink is sprayed onto the surface of the paper, this spray pattern then forms an image with colours and tonal range being incredible. While inkjet printers have previously been given a bad rap the advantages of them have not been truly communicated to the public.

Inkjet prints offer a wide colour gamut, meaning they can display a range of colours never possible before in a print. When it comes to overall accuracy, artists are able to match the colours of their original artwork to a greater extent and photographers are able to get an incredible amount of depth in their tones without the need to spend hours in the darkroom tweaking and retrying until they get it right. Overall, inkjet has become an big part of the professional art and photo printing industry.

We strive to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied with their prints by enabling them to view their prints on screen through our printing kiosks (DPC). Our DPC’s and printers are colour calibrated and we perform several maintenance procedures daily to ensure you get the best quality out of your images.
