Emmit Builders delivers high quality building projects and building maintenance services in
the South East Queensland area.

Emmit Builders is a successful building company delivering these high quality projects and
services:
• Residential building, camp construction, commercial building and industrial building
including warehouses, sheds and site buildings.
• Turnkey building capabilities from site preparation and building design through to
building completion and fit out.
• High quality project management and very high quality finishing and handover on all new
builds and renovations to existing buildings.
• Building maintenance services covering maintenance, structures and building
maintenance, roofing, services (electrical, plumbing, and cabling), building fit out, and
grounds and landscaping.

Emmit Builders works with locally based, quality subcontractors throughout Queensland and
Northern New South Wales.

Emmit Builders is a licensed builder and works with a qualified trade team on all projects.
Key staff in the company have over 15 years construction industry track record.

The company’s services include the following:
• Building design and project management – Emmit builders has a strong track record
for very effective project management – delivering projects on time and on budget for
clients. The company can provide an integrated design service or work with external
designers to deliver new construction, refurbishment and renovation projects.
Owner Tim Florea is the lead onsite project manager – delivering strong oversight of all
projects. Emmit Builders provides a flexible, cost effective approach with the ability to
deliver effectively in regional and remote areas.

electrical, plumbing, and cabling.

Emmit Builders can deploy teams to regional and remote locations and deliver high

Emmit Builders is a member of the Queensland Master Builders Association and uses
Master Builders work management, safety and risk management systems.
The company has strong relationships with suppliers of materials for building and
maintenance projects.
Equipment and Resources
Emmit Builders uses the Master Builders work management systems and contracts for all of
its work.

Equipment and technology used includes:
• 2 x light trucks that are CSG site spec’d.
• Bobcats and excavators.
• Scaffolding up to 4m.
• Hand tools and equipment for building and maintenance tasks.
• Generators, concrete cutters, chainsaws and other various power tools.
• IPads and iPhones for field communication and tracking work. The team uses photos of
finished work as part of the reporting on outcomes or progress.
• XERO accounting software.

The company employs 3 to 7 core staff and up to 40 subcontract staff. Skilled staff include
carpenters, electricians, painters, plumbers, concreter’s, glaziers, tilers and construction workers. Emmit Builders employs apprentices and has an ongoing program of skills development
including toolbox talks and safety updates.
The company has a policy of employing local staff and providing training for local staff.

Emmit Builders has worked successfully with Westfield Group, Hungry Jacks Pty Ltd, Vicinity, QIC, Building and Asset Services
(Queensland Government), Robina Town Centre, Calamvale Central, major insurers, major
shopping centres and leading builders.

Emmit Builders uses the CM3 safety management system that provides a safety
management system covering all work and site procedures. The company is pre qualified to
CM3 standards.

Emmit Builders uses Master Builders work management systems and contracts to manage
quality, environmental performance and risk management for all building and maintenance
work.
