Emerald Lakers Basketball Club Inc.

The Emerald Lakers Basketball Club is a community based club consisting of 32 junior boys and girls teams competing in the Knox Amateur Basketball Association catering for ages 5 to 22.

The club is committed to providing a non discriminative opportunity for all levels of players to join in and have some fun regardless of their skill. Where possible, teams are graded according to age and ability to provide each team the opportunity to compete against equally skilled teams from other clubs.

Parents and older players are encouraged to participate as coaches, team managers or committee members.

Most games are played on a Saturday in and around the Knox area, some age groups games are played on a Sunday afternoon or evening. Basketball has 2 seasons each year, allowing the game to be played all year round. (Excluding school and public holidays) The indoor stadiums provide the opportunity to play in all weather conditions.

Fees are kept to a minimum and contribute to team entry fees and court hire. We have a small group of dedicated volunteers devoting themselves to providing the youth of Emerald and it's surrounds a positive outlet for all their energy.
