Eko Fruits

Eko Fruits of Renmark, South Australia was first established in the mid 50’s by Jim Logos. Jim was the son of the first Greek migrant to settle in the Riverland in 1927. Jim’s property of 16 hectares like most initially contained only citrus trees of oranges, mandarins and lemons. Jim’s son-in-law, Bill Ekonomopoulos along with his wife Christine became owners and operators of the property in 1980.

Stall holders include Bill and his wife Christine, his sons Louie, Mitch and George with their wives Chelsea, Theodora and Natalie along with Mitch’s father in-law Sam.
Bill and Christine have worked hard to bring Eko Fruits to what it is today, diversifying the farm with the agriculture of a variety of different fruits and nuts. We currently grow avocados, mangos, apricots, nectarines, peaches, plums, cherries, oranges, lemons, almonds, grapes and sweet corn. The warmer climate in the Riverland means our customers can enjoy some of the earliest cherries and stone fruit to ripen Australia-wide. With the help of his three sons, he hopes to keep the Eko Fruits family property thriving for many generations to come. We hope you enjoy our produce as much as we enjoy growing it!

The farm is located approximately 7km north west of the township of Renmark. Renmark is situated approximately 275km north east of the Adelaide CBD within the Riverland region.
