Our founding Managing Director, Maurie Young, started Education Supply Company Pty Ltd, commonly known as EDSCO, in 1985.
A former Queensland, primary school Principal with 28 years experience, Maurie could see the need for a local education supply company to focus on quality products at reasonable prices, delivered on time with no fuss.
From very humble beginnings on a mezzanine floor in Newstead, EDSCO has grown to a most impressive showroom with over 20 employees all committed to the founding philosophies and processes – ensuring the continuation of Maurie’s early vision.
When you visit our new modern showroom in Kedron, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the attention paid to your needs and to the knowledge and expertise of our staff members – who are all happy to go that little bit further.
