My Children’s books.

These were borne out of two wishes. The first was due to my desire to lessen the amount of violence that occurs in children’s books these days. I recognized that many parents were more responsible with the type of information their children receive and felt it was timely to give them the option of a more serene type of book.

The second was the desire to teach people all over the world about the animals of Australia. With the Internet now a tool that can distribute information to every corner of the world, I became excited about the possibility of offering ebooks about Australia.

The fairy books are set in the northern rainforests of Queensland, and there are many animals encountered in the adventures. My ‘Alphabet Animals of Australia’ picture books not only help children with their alphabet, but each letter has several stories about animals found in Australia – wild and domesticated.

Gardening books.

These came about because I was sick of going through book after book - and there are millions of gardening books – trying to find the relevant information for my situation. I therefore decided to simplify all the information that I gathered. It took me many years to search through gardening books and then put what I found into a very simplified format. This format includes only four sections per month. Firstly, the flowers you can plant. Secondly, the vegetables you can plant. Thirdly, the jobs you can attempt, and finally a brief explanation of those jobs. There was more I could have added, but decided to keep everything as easy to follow as possible.

Since I have done that, many people, who are interested in gardening, have expressed their interest in my idea. I have put the booklets on the market for any gardener frustrated by the huge amount of information out there and who wants a simple, concise book at their fingertips. It was at first only relevant to my area in Northern N.S.W. Australia, but I soon realized that it could be helpful to any gardener living in a temperate zone.
