East Wimmera Health Service

East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a vibrant, fully accredited, multi-campus health service situated in the north-west of Victoria, striving to 'Cultivate Healthy Communities'.

EWHS encompasses the townships of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud and Wycheproof. EWHS has a total population of approximately 10,000 people.

EWHS offers traditional bed based services including urgent care services at five sites, acute medical beds and residential aged care beds at four sites, with a Renal Dialysis Service located at the Donald Campus.

Our community based services include Dietetics, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Aged Care Assessment Services, Post-Acute Care, Hospital Admission Risk Program, Community Health Nursing, Planned Activity Groups, District Nursing Service, Diabetes Educators and Health Promotion.
