Dress for Success Perth

Dress for Success Perth has evolved from the successful career support agency Ready to Work which was established in 2008 by Rachael Hain and Kellie Benda. The pair identified that there was a significant need for a charitable service to assist women in the Western Australian community to secure employment.
In its eight years of operation, Ready to Work’s devoted staff and remarkable volunteers assisted more than 1500 needy women in our community to obtain work and gain financial independence through the assistance of Lotterywest, corporate partners and private foundations.
In 2015, Rachael Hain joined forces with Madeleine Long and together they worked on the transition for Ready to Work to become part of the worldwide global charitable organisation Dress for Success.
Dress for Success Perth was officially launched in April 2016.
Today Dress for Success Perth is pursuing its mission to support the financial independence of unemployed, low-income and disadvantaged women in Western Australia by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools which will help women build their skills, confidence and employability, enabling them to increase their choices in life and achieve self sufficiency.
As registered charity, Dress for Success Perth is administered by a dedicated Board of experienced professionals and Operations Manager and our client services are facilitated by a team of exceptional volunteers from the administration offices and outfitting boutique in West Perth, that has been generously supported by Lotterywest.
Dress for Success Perth is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures.
