ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Rhiannon, I am a qualified hairdresser with 20 years experience and 15 of those years I have worked as a Dreadlock Specialist. Over that past 15 years I have spent 6 years working full time at Do Yer Nut, a Dreadlock Specialist salon in Brisbane and another 6 years working at Happy High Herbs.
In that time I have built up a loyal following of clients and I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the evolution of their Dreadlocks.
You will also find me at various markets and festivals in my travelling Dreadlock Gypsy van creating Dreadlocks and Hairwraps for amazing souls.
I am passionate about creating a unique style for you.. I am also passionate about, and enjoy, herbs, plants, herbal medicine, crafting, sewing, animals, travelling,camping, upcycling, and other cultures.

METHOD

All Dreadlocking is done by hand with a comb, dread tool and crochet hook. I do not use chemicals, glue, cotton or oily wax products and do not cut any loose hair off. 100% Organic.

SERVICES

*Full Set of new Dreads - $350 Flat rate for all hair types and lengths.

*Half head of new Dreads - $230

*Dread Maintenance/tidy up - $60 per hour
****Please note it will only ever take 1-1&1/2 hours maximum for a tidy up.GUARANTEED. Some salons are charging $30-$40 per hour and will take 3-4 hrs to do your maintenance. I am fast but thorough.

*Single Dreadlocks - $15 each
** Single Dreads are a great option if you are still at school or just want to try Dreadlocks first.

*Dreadlock Extensions - By quote
**Please note I only use 100% High quality human hair and guarantee all extension work for life. Extensions are attached by hand with no glue or stitching. Please call or email me to discus your options.

Dreadlock repairs - By Quote
**Please note I am able to fix any dreadlock problems, broken dreadlocks, thinning dreadlocks, I can separate chunky dreads, make dreads thicker, pretty much anything. I do a lot of fix up jobs and love a challenge.

*Dreadlock Products - I stock a range of Organic Dread products, beads, headbands, tools and wraps all available at your appointment. I am also a little crafty, and I make some goodies that will be available to buy from time to time, Happy to post out all orders too.

*Hair Wraps -
I have a range of Hair Wraps available. Himalayan silk, raglocks, felt locks, cotton wraps, macrame wraps, hemp wraps. All available either separately as a detachable option or as a permanent option. All available by appointment.

*Free Consultations -
I am happy to meet you in person or chat on the phone at any time to discuss your Dreadlock needs and concerns.

*HAIR ART PARTY'S
Dreadlock Gypsy Hair Art Party's are an awesome idea for your next teenage birthday party, gathering, hens night, mums group, girls or guys night or general shindig.

*Parking - Easy to find and heaps of parking available.

*Eftpos - Dreadlock Gypsy has eftpos available.


*Dreadlock Gypsy in the community - A percentage of all dreadlock work and hairwraps sold goes back into the community. I am passionate about helping local artists, community projects and charities. I am always happy to hear your recommendations of who you think would be a great project to get behind.

*Qualifications -
I am a trade qualified hairdresser and loctitian with 20 years industry experience. I am a registered business and am insured. Please be mindful when doing your research that there are a lot of pop up "Dread specialists" out there. Please find someone reputable with qualifications so you can start your Dread journey off on the right foot.
