Drap'hyd Merino Stud

Since its beginnings in the ACT in 1996, Drap'hyd Merino Stud has implemented modern sheep genetics techniques to develop three main families of coloured Merinos. These families are our Traditional Superfine (horned), Superfine Poll and the Saxon Merinos. Our fleece wool has been exported to Europe and Asia to be made into cloth for apparel and has also been used by some of the most accomplished hand spinners on the Eastern seaboard of Australia. Our genetics have been used in pure and cross breeding to add fineness and softness to broader flocks.
