Dog-antics is a home based business offering dog grooming by an experienced Vet nurse, dog groomer and trainer.

Hi, my name is Kate.
I have loved animals my whole life and grew up with many.
After school I studied vet nursing and worked for many years in my dream job. While there I also started clipping off dogs.

I enjoyed the grooming so started work experience with a Master groomer who taught me a lot. I continued gaining experience at a few different salons and completed two courses until I was confident to enough start grooming people's dogs from home. I had my own business from home for 3 years and then and then went on to work with "Liz's Mobile Pet Salon".
I moved to Melbourne and started working at a salon and a pet store until I left to get married and have 3 children.
I have continued to clip friends dogs during that time but started grooming as my business again in January 2013.

I have over 20 years experience training and handling dogs including as an instructor at dog training clubs, pets as therapy trainer, working with protection dogs, competing and titling several breeds in obedience and agility, training dogs and other animals for tv, movies, ads and theatre both in Australia and overseas.

I am a registered breeder and member of DogsVIC with who I show Pembroke Welsh Corgi's.
