Do You Bee-lieve?

In case you were wondering ....... :-)

'Do You Bee-lieve?' is a Magical Christmas Wonderland Exhibition,
created by Visual Display Artist Jule Barten and
Original Doll Artist Chris Boston.

'Do You Bee-lieve?' is the follow-on-exhibition from " Farewell Lollipop Land, the Journey Begins", which was held at Old Petrie Town in 2016.

Last year we saw two Dragons (Mr Trufflewafflepuff and Ms Lulu Lovebug) fall in love and leave the North Pole to head off on a journey to Somewhere Over the Rainbow, taking many of their friends from Lollipop Land with them.

2017 will see the characters heading to (??????) .... that's still secret fairy business for now :-) ... but, we certainly hope that you will join us for this one-of-a-kind exhibition, because we never create the same thing twice, making each year a truly unique experience, that is not to be missed!

A little bit about the artists ....
Jule and Chris have been exhibiting together since 2006 and have collaborated on numerous projects for several years prior to that.

Chris has now been hand-sculpting her lovable Art-Dolls for some 30 years and has exhibited extensively throughout Australia and Internationally, winning numerous awards along the way. She is highly regarded among her peers and many of her much-loved characters, have made their way to treasured new homes.

Jule has been a Visual Display Artist and a serious day-dreamer, for a long, long time and loves to create the magical stories for Chris's characters to live in with her specialty being, Beautiful Christmas Trees, that are all one-off creations.

Think of the theatre and you'll kind of get the picture ... Chris is responsible for the casting, make-up, fashion and acting whereas Jule, is responsible for the design, the props, set direction, script-writing, etc, etc.

Whether it's Do You Bee-lieve? or Lollipop Land or, The Faeries Tea Party, you will discover that it really is, a joint effort to bring the magic alive! <3 <3 <3

'Do You Bee-lieve?' will OPEN at Old Petrie Town, 901 Dayboro Road, Whiteside, Qld, 4503 on NOVEMBER 17, 2017.
