A Rune reading is a connection to our collective past, the Elder Futhark Rune’s are the oldest complete alphabet and have been around for thousands of years. A Rune reading is a divine experience between the person asking the question and the Gods and Goddesses both old and new that answer their questions. The runes can be to form words and sentences or combined to form runes for protection or healing.

The common rune spreads used are a single rune pull and two different three rune spreads, The Norn and Yggdrasil and a six rune spread combining The Norn and Yggdrasil in a single reading.
The single rune pull is a great way to get a short sharp answer to a question and something that I do for myself every day asking the question “what will my day bring?”
The Norn are the three wise women Urd, Verdandi and Skuld that represent different aspects of the past, present and future respectively. The runes may reflect the forces that have, are or will be an influence on question or what you may need to be wary about having a negative influence on the outcome of the question.
Yggdrasil is the World Tree that encompass the Norse universe in it, we are part of the universe that is experiencing itself through us so we are our own universe and Yggdrasil is used a representation of self. Weather Driven, the eagle sitting on top of Yggdrasil is our higher selves, ever watchful. Ratatosk , the squirrel running communication up and down Yggdrasil is how we communicate to ourselves. Nidhogg, the serpent at the base of Yggdrasil, chewing at the roots, is our lower self and how we often undermine our selves.
The Norn and Yggdrasil can be combined and used a 6 rune spread giving greater depth into any questions asked of the runes.

The rune pulls are written down on blank A4 sheet of paper, with a person’s name on the top of the page and the question being asked underneath. The name of the rune spread is next with the name for each rune above a drawing of that rune. Under the drawing of the rune is the name of the rune and 3 words describing the property of the runes that have come to me with the reading. I write a short description for what each rune is telling me and then a larger description about what the rune’s are saying as a whole story. 2 photos are sent of the reading plus a type up of the reading in case you can’t understand my handwriting.

If you want the physical copy of the reading a local pick up can be arraigned, if that isn’t possible for an additional $5 page of the reading can be mailed to you in an A4 envelop to anywhere in the world. If you have 5 readings I will post out the five readings without any additional charge.

When getting a rune reading done you may request a particular three rune spread or if you want a 6 rune spread. If you want a three rune spread but are unsure about which spread to use you can leave that decision to me and I will meditate on what spread to use before pulling any runes

I (Triston) have spent years attuning myself to the runes and acting a conduit for people to ask questions to the Gods and Goddesses and hearing their answers. What has started out of spiritual interest has become a passion for me pulling runes daily on my Instagram account @rathmon, and reading all the information I can find in print or on the internet as well creating many personal writings and art projects around runes.
