I started taking racing photos when my daughter became a jockey in 2015. I took a LOT of photos, and my hobby quickly developed into a passion. Initially I was only taking photos of Stacey, then started photographing every race in search of that perfect action shot (I'm still chasing that!)
This page came about because I wanted to share the photos I was taking. It is for jockeys, trainers, owners, strappers, fans of country racing, and friends and families of all those I just mentioned.
I love going to the Non TAB meetings, They have an atmosphere very different to the TAB meetings. Larger clubs and TAB meetings usually have a professional photographer on course, so I try to stay out of their way - I'm not in competition with them. I still take photos at those larger meetings too, but mostly concentrate on the mounting yard and action shots down the home straight. Finish line photos are best left to the professionals!
