Deviation Road Winery

One of Australia’s top boutique producers of sparkling wine, Deviation Road continues a five generation winemaking history. The Winery was created in 1999 by Hamish Laurie, Great Great Grandson of South Australia’s first female winemaker Mary Laurie. Hamish was joined in 2001 by his wife Kate, whose sparkling expertise is a testament to her time spent in Champagne. Together, their focus is 100% Adelaide Hills with all fruit sourced from high altitude mature vineyards located on and around Deviation Road in the Lenswood district.

The cellar door is located in picturesque Longwood in the Adelaide Hills. Open daily 10am t0 5pm, enjoy guided tastings across the entire premium range, shared regional tasting platters amongst friends or a leisurely afternoon of bocce and bottle of red in the wine garden. The spectacular native garden deck and vineyard setting means the cellar door is also a popular wedding venue.
