DERMAfix Skin Therapy

Hi my name is Rachel Mckeering. I am a practising Registered Nurse with prior training in Beauty Therapy. First and foremost I am a nurse. I like helping people, ensuring my patients are well looked after physically and emotionally.

I created DERMAfix from listening to people and because of my own experience. As an adolescent I suffered from acne which then re appeared when I had my son was born. My self esteem and self worth was very low, even to the point where I would isolate myself at home. I went to extreme methods to try and stop my acne. this included using dish washing scratch pads, bleach.... It was from this experience that lead me to where I am today. I understand the importance of social acceptance and the need to feel happy with in our selves. Helping sick vulnerable people is part of who I am as a nurse, and another is helping create self worth and improve self esteem by offering low cost facial treatments that I feel work! .
