Denmark Festival of Voice

The Denmark Festival of Voice is held over two days and three nights every year over the June long weekend in the beautiful south coastal town of Denmark, Western Australia.

A project of Denmark Arts, the Festival is a celebration of the human voice, with a special focus on community singing, and each year brings together an inspiring lineup of local, national and international artists in choir, ensemble, group and individual performances.

Every year hundreds of people come together to watch, listen, learn, laugh, share their stories and sing their hearts out.

Choir, comedy and cabaret, poetry, spoken word and storytelling; sacred music, revolution songs, indigenous and world music, folk, gospel and the blues - DFoV stirs up a mix of musical flavours and serves it up in great dollops in heritage and contemporary venues all within a gentle stroll of each other in the heart of the charming Denmark village.

The Festival Club brings artists and audience together for late night interaction and the Festival Fringe extends the vibe with performances in hotels, cafes, restaurants and wineries throughout the Shire.
