About Us
Demountable Sales and Hire (DSH) is a Darwin success story which has been in operation since 1998 and now operating out of new premises at 52 Dawson Street, Darwin Business Park.
DSH’s complex consists of a 12,000m² concreted hardstand with 1500m² under roof.
This has enabled DSH to grow with the demand of constructing over 200+ Modules per year, with permanent team of 26, with the ability to increase personnel to meet construction deadlines and the ability to increase operations to 24hrs per day if required.
DSH services many clients for the supply and installation of transportable modules throughout Australia, for a myriad of uses which include domestic & commercial applications, state & local government departments, mining sector & the Defence industry.
Over the past 5 years DSH has constructed over 1,000 various types of building modules, that have been supplied, delivered and installed to various locations within the Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia.
DSH materials are mainly sourced locally, purchased in bulk through local suppliers and are stocked at the Dawson Street facility, this minimizes supply shortages and lead times in order to produce a competitively priced product.
DSH have in place, an Approved in Principle (AIP) design system that allows for ease and speed of construction.
All modules are constructed to the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and are fully engineered, certified and comply to the energy efficiency requirements.
DSH is proud to claim the innovative design of the transportable cyclonic concrete footing which allows for speed of installation and demobilization when required. This system has been adopted throughout Australia within transportable building industry.
