Welcome to Deck Bar & the new il Pacifico Italian restaurant.

Located upstairs from Deck Bar, the new il Pacifico has similarities to a Tuscan terrace, overlooking the sea. This new 80-seat restaurant has come alive, and with it, a Tuscan vision has emerged. Rustic pots, vine-covered pergolas and ornate chandeliers are amongst some of the details that will transport you to another place and time.

With an emphasis on wood-fired pizzas & freshly made pasta, it will feature weekly specials including the best wagyu steaks, straight from the supplier, homemade pasta specials, fresh fish and salad dishes.

There will be a rotating list of imported Italian wines and Australian examples of Italian grape varietals. The exquisite cocktail lounge comes to life with a water fountain, village courtyard with cobblestones and a fireplace to finish off the feel of an outside Tuscan Village. Here, you can enjoy cocktails centred around Italian spirits, aperitives and liqueurs, and will feature seasonal freshly squeezed juices.

With all this going on, you may have forgiven them for leaving downstairs well enough alone. However, Deck Bar itself is also receiving a facelift. Deck Bar wanted to create the perfect beach bar experience, so we will be adding an
outdoor beer garden, with artificial coconut palms and grass, string party lights, lounges and an outdoor fire pit. And what beach bar would be complete without a couple of daybeds to relax and take in the relaxed atmosphere?

Deck Bar will now take on a Hawaiian vide, and Steve has been meticulous in sourcing all his fabrics for the new look straight from Hawaii. There will be a range of craft beers on tap from Hawaiian brewery Kona, and the new menu will showcase one of the wold’s biggest, healthiest food trends to come out of Hawaii – poke! Poke is basically a combination of the fresh ingredients and flavours you enjoy in sushi, presented in a large salad bowl.

Cocktails will be very colourful and refreshing examples of thirst quenching drinks you would drink in the Hawaiian Islands.
