Deakin Golfers' Association

Welcome to the official Facebook Page of the proposed ‘Deakin Golfers’ Association (DGA)’. The purpose of this society is to invite Deakin Students of all skill levels, beginners to the elite, to try their hand at golf, make good mates and have fun.

We will be sharing regular updates on the creation of this society with the goal of becoming DUSA affiliated in 2018. Many steps have to be completed before we can submit an application to the board, including acquiring potential members and forming a leadership committee to name a few.

If you are interested in potentially becoming a member, please message the page with: your full name, student ID, email, phone number and whether you are apart of DUSA.

The proposed membership fee will be: $10 for DUSA members and $15 for non-members (this would NOT need to be paid until we are DUSA affiliated in 2018). We need at least 10 members to start the club and at least 20 members to get DUSA funding. However, the more the merrier so don’t be afraid to email your details through.

The ultimate goal of this society is to become affiliated with a local golf course and hopefully provide discounted green fees to all members therefore reducing the financial burden of playing sport.
