Dazzle - Tom boat - Yamba

Hi there,

Welcome to the Tom.

This page is relating to people who can live on the Tome, free of charge, for a couple of months.

Tom is a vessel that will soon to be refurbished into DAZZLE, a Performing Arts venue, moored in Sydney.

The refurbishing work will take place as soon as the mooring in Sydney is permanently locked, which has been a work in progress for the past year, with great progresses in the past weeks.

Until then and during refurbishing works, it is moored in the middle of the Clarence river, near Yamba.

I'm part owning the ship, and the owner is living on it until the end of the month.

As Tom needs to be inhabited for security and administrative purposes, I am creating this event to offer friends, and friends of friends, the opportunity to stay on the boat and keep it looked after for a while, free of charge.

There is 8 cabins for 2 people, plus the captain cabin, with basic amenities. This includes a kitchen, water and electricity.

Looking after the boat with basic repairs or kitchen upgade is welcome but not conditional. It just has to be permanently inhabited by one or more people, with a max of 8.

This is ideal for anyone in need of a roof, for quiet office work, artistic of community project, or just to enjoy the silence under the stars.

As long as you stay on the boat (almost) every day.

Timeframe is minimum 1 month, certainly 2 months, and will have to be flexible after October but stay against work is a definitive possibility.
