David Stewart Fitness was born out of a lifetime fitness journey and a frustration with a poorly regulated industry. The health and fitness industry is in dire need of an operator that people can trust. With the overweight and obese proportion of the population at 60% and growing something needs to change. Consumers are tired of being promised the world and once locked in receiving nothing. There is a growing number of people feeling disheartened and excepting a lower quality of life and health. This is a direct result of a greedy, unethical industry promoting and selling fad after fad to maximise profits. People have become frustrated and desensitised to motivational quotes, Instagram fitness models and 12 week challenges, there needs to be a change.

Introducing David Stewart Fitness, a business that stands out. A health business with values that prioritises their client’s health and achievements. With an honest desire to increases the quality of life for many and create a lasting legacy of improving the health of a huge number of the worlds population. As a business David Stewart Fitness aims to impact a ridiculously large number of humans.
There is no reason why we have to be overweight and unhealthy. Yes, there is an abundance of processed, fatty, high sugar foods but with that there has been an increase in supply of fresh healthy foods. Blaming the food industry will not resolve our problems. We aim to grow a culture of health, wellbeing and abundance. Life shouldn’t be hard. We should enjoy our food, activity and our bodies. Maintaining a healthy weight should not feel like a monumental task. This idea has been created by underqualified trainers, health gurus and the health food industry dominating the market, and giving poor advice. It is our mission to change this perception.

Health interventions should be long term and sustainable, if you can’t see yourself doing it in 6 months it is not worth trying. Peoples health needs to be put back into their own hands, we can no longer be ignorant and reactive. More and more science is finding that what we attribute to age is more related to inactivity. Most health concerns are positively impacted by a fitness regime and healthier diets. We need to create fitness strategies for a lifetime not a 12 week burst of motivation. If we want to live long, happy, fruitful lives this is a change we believe must happen. Everybody can live more actively through out their older age.
