We are a family business that has been running for about 50 years originally starting in Sydney NSW back in the 1940s by my grandfather and his father as Fred Brighton & sons then inthe 1970s it was relocated the Nambucca valley in NSW.
Then my Father Kevin Brighton took over the Business in about 1971 as Kev Brighton Flooring Contractors . they were the Cypress timber resellers supplying ,Installing and Sanding and Polishing of timber floors . I worked with my father on and off through my teens then in about 1990 i was working as an installer for my father also sanding and finishing .
I 1996 D & K Brighton Floorsanding was Registered operating from the Nambucca Valley down to Hastings Valley up the the Coffs Coast .
In 2009 we moved to the Bundaberg Reagan and now servicing Bundaberg /Gin Gin and Childers we also travel to Gladstone in the north and Hervey Bay regents.
We supply and Install timber flooring and we are the CQ agents for Big River Timbers for there Engineered flooring systems.
The BRT Engineered flooring system is the best timber flooring for all appreciations able to go over all sub floors with ease it dos not bend , warp or twist with most condition's It is in my option the only floor to trust over Concrete . Good in all areas homes and in hi volume areas dance floors shop floors .
