Dan's Bantam Chickens is based on Daniel a ten year old boy who after suffering a brain stem tumour and the resultant brain injury from its removal developed a love of chickens.
A lovely breeder gave him three bantam wyandottes which sadly died whilst he was on holidays during their first year with us. He went on to purchase pekins and wyandottes from different breeders and developed a beautiful flock of bantams. The pekins are blue splash, white splash, black and buff. The wyandottes are gold lace and silver lace. Frizzles in black, blue and white.
Over the past three years he has developed knowledge and skill in raising and breeding lovely bantam chickens.
Following a family tradition, his grandparents kept chickens throughout their lifetime a vast wealth of knowledge has been drawn on to raise and care for the chickens and to help other backyard poultry lovers too.
Over 80 years experience (of family members) in all aspects of chicken care and development.
