The company’s philosophy is to supply niche markets with innovations superior to traditional devices or products. The company’s aim is to reduce “preventable” accidents, especially toddler drownings in backyard swimming pools. Due to the safety, privacy and security of many of our products we have also gained importance in childcare centre access, and also in the pet market, by making pet gates safer.

D&D Technologies started in Sydney, Australia, in 1989, evolving from a family-owned fencing company to become a worldwide market leader in high-technology gate hardware.

As well as dominating the Australia and NZ fencing markets in its chosen sector, D&D now ships the majority of its product to export markets such as the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the UK, France, Spain, Holland and Japan.

D&D Technologies has fully manned offices in Sydney, Los Angeles UK distributes most of its products through trade distributors worldwide.

Safety and innovation are the key goals for which D&D Technologies strives. Because many of its products are safety and security oriented, carrying Lifetime Warranties, manufacturing in Australia is seen as a pre-requisite to ensuring all products are made to the highest standards and consistency.
