Dance FUNdamentals offers an engaging dance education program that takes elements from jazz, hip hop, modern and contemporary dance to create a diverse dance experience for children.
A Dance FUNdamentals instructor will come into your school or day care center once a week for a term to teach the dance curriculum.
Each session is specifically designed for each year group based on the current draft of the Arts strand of the Australian Curriculum. The program also fulfills the dance requirements of the current Health and Physical Education strand of the WA Curriculum Framework.

Each class consists of:
- An energetic warm up
- A movement game
- A dance skill
- Choreography (to be performed in a school show at the conclusion of the program)
- A relaxing cool down
A collection of classroom resources are also available to teachers once the school has enrolled in the program. These resources can be used to turn dance into your theme for the term or simply as some cross-curricular activities.
Dance FUNdamentals also offers help with Wakakirri, graduation performances and school productions.
