I was brought up in a pretty big family with 4 other siblings. Anyone from a big family knows that it’s pretty hard to carve out anything for yourself. Fighting for a sense of individuality was tricky growing up. For me, that happened in primary school, when I picked up a pencil and started to draw.

As time went on, I became interested in the way light shapes an image, giving it depth. By high school, my portraits were becoming pretty realistic.

At about the same time, my dad started playing around with black and white photography, and made himself a homemade darkroom. I think that was about the time that I started to understand what makes great images and I was hooked!

In 2004, I married my beautiful wife. At that time, digital was just starting to make waves in the professional world. This is when I thought I could try shooting weddings for a living. I started in wedding cinematography, which led to my ultimate passion; wedding photography.

Every time I photograph a wedding, it brings me right back to those first days of me picking up a pencil and pressing it against a blank piece of paper, or smelling darkroom chemicals while watching an image come to life.

These memories mean so much to me. So, when I photograph your wedding, what I want for you is this; I want my images to bring you back to your wedding day. Exactly how it was. All of the memories and emotions, every single time you look at the images. I want you to feel like you are right there all over again!
